Exhibition by our Artists

Dear Friends,

The 1st. Museum of Small Arts Collection was exhibited at the MoSA Art Gallery from 1- 15 November 2007.

For your information, we received a lots of 'photocopy', ''color photocopy'' & ''computer print ''. Not original art work, 90 % postcard size. We received only a few pieces A3 and A4 size. We would like to exhibit at the Kebun Mimpi Art Gallery in Kuala Lumpur but all artworks just could display only on a wall, so we decided to exhibit at our gallery - MoSA Art Gallery.

We really hope next JULY (2008) we have enough artworks to exhibit at the Kebun Mimpi Art Gallery in Kuala Lumpur. So we put one more call on the web.

Thank you.

- MoSA

Museum of Small Arts Collection 2

'Kebun Mimpi' The Gallery,  KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA

The 1st. International Mail Art Exhibition in Malaysia was exhibited at the Galeri Seni, Faculty of Art & Design, MARA University of Technology, Shah Alam, Malaysia, from September to October 2006 (http://imagmailart.tripod.com). The exhibition was a joined organization between the I-MAG (International Mail Art Artists Group) and the Faculty of Art & Design. Artists from 51 countries participated in the exhibition and more than 100 guests attended the opening ceremony. This is an encouraging development of mail art in this country since it was the first mail art exhibition in Malaysia. And because of this, the exhibition extended for two months.

With the success from the first exhibition, we have moved to a commercial gallery in Kuala Lumpur. Kebun Mimpi Art Gallery is located in Bangsar, an art town of Kuala Lumpur.

We invited artists all over the world to contribute their work in this exhibition called the 2nd MoSA Collections Exhibition (http://mosacollections.tripod.com)

You can send up to 8 artworks, on paper or canvas, sized A4 (21 x 30 cm) or A3 (31 x 42 cm). There is no participation fee. ORIGINAL art works only. NO photocopy or computer prints. We have frames ready for those sizes. Every artwork of those sizes will receive a certificate of appreciation from MoSA to acknowledge your mail art is in our permanent collection.

Please label your artwork/s as a GIFT or SOUVENIR – NO COMMERCOAL VALUE –. If you put the value for the artwork/s, 'Malaysian Custom' will be tax for very high price. We cannot afford for that.

1. Full name

2. Address

3. Country

4. Title of work

5. Media

6. Year
